Such approach shows an increase of motivation in workers and improvement of work performance. The transactional leadership, on the other hand, shows managerial approach which mainly bases on supervision and group performance. In this case, a system of rewards and punishments is used to motivate employees to do better.

Without diversification, a leader will not be fully successful, his or her managing qualities will be dull and monotonous, thus they will not develop much. Diversity brings new perspectives, ideas, and plans, which always help an organization be competitive on the market.
